Besides Shenzhen Tianma which is mainly focused on passive LCDs and LCD modules and Shanghai Tianma the first 4.5G TFT production line, there are now several other production facilities within the Tianma Group.
Chengdu Tianma
Chengdu Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd which was invested by Tianma Microelectronics Co. Ltd., Chengdu Industrial Investment Group Co. Ltd. and Chengdu High-Tech Investment Group Co. Ltd was established on September 11, 2008. Chengdu Tianma is located in the Chengdu West High-tech Zone and is the second 4.5G TFT-LCD production line of the Tianma Group with a total area of about 30 million square meters. Chengdu Tianma focuses on small and medium display applications (<10.4”) e.g. for mobile phones, car navigation systems, portal media players and many other applications.
Wuhan Tianma
Wuhan Tianma Microelectronicsc Co., Ltd. was founded on November 18, 2008. It is located in China optical vale, East Lake Hi-tech Development Zone, Wuhan.
Wuhan Tianma is a hi-tech professional enterprise for the design, manufacturing and sales of small and medium size TFT modules which are produced in the state of the art 4.5G TFT-LCD factory.
At Wuhan Tianma the color filters for all three 4.5G TFT factories of the Tianma Group will be manufatcures.
The register capital for the company is contributed by Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and HuBei Science and Technology Investment Co., Ltd. Wuhan.
Shanghai AVIC
Shanghai AVIC Optoelectronics Co. Ltd. was founded at Xinzhuang Industrial Park, Minhang District，Shanghai on December 11th , 2009. Shanghai Avic was jointly invested by AVIC International Holding Corporation and AVIC International Shenzhen Co. Ltd. It is operated by the Tianma Group.
The Company occupies an area of 200,000 square meters, with an architectural area of 160,000 square meters including a clean room area of 80,000 square meters. The green area covers 30% of the total area.
Shanghai AVIC owned the first 5G TFT-LCD with a large business scope covering design, research & development, manufacturing, sale and after-sale services of the products of TFT-LCD and other modules. The TFT modules from Shanghai AVIC are used in applications like monitors, personal computers, LCD TVs, Digital Audio &Video equipment, automotive & GPS, industrial & medical, etc.
